Early Life and Education
Born in Uganda, Zulaika attended Mengo Senior School, Kampala for her high school studies. Her high school experiences laid the foundation for her environmental advocacy, inspiring her to seamlessly blend her passion for healthcare and environmental advocacy. Pursuing a nursing degree at Klinikum Region Hannover Akademie in Germany, Namwanje’s academic path her healthcare expertise with a commitment to environmental activism.

In 2020, Namwanje founded Clean Earth Uganda, a youth-led initiative dedicated to raising awareness about climate change.
