Yiga Nasib Matovu is a young Ugandan environmental activist, and green ambassador currently in high school at Masaka Secondary School in Uganda. Yiga’s commitment to climate advocacy led to the founding the first-ever Earth Volunteer club at his school.

Masaka Earth Club
Students and members of the Earth Club visit a recycling plant in Uganda. As part of its mission to promote sustainability, such as waste management, recycling, and environmental awareness campaigns.
On this excursion students witness the and understand the real-world processes that transforms actions from environmental sanitation to recycling.
