Sarah Nabakooza an environmental activist, waste management technologist, and dedicated community mobiliser at Earth Volunteers.
In 2022, driven by her passion for sustainable solutions, Sarah developed a 100% biodegradable waste burner stove. This innovative creation has significantly impacted the lives of low-income women, especially single mothers in remote areas who depend on firewood for cooking.

In November 2024, Sarah will be showcasing her groundbreaking stove at the Global Innovation Forum in London, where she has been invited to present her work on creating sustainable stoves from biowaste, stop by if you’re near.
