Climate School

Launched in April 2022, Earth Volunteers’ Climate School 2030 Initiative is dedicated to empowering young minds across Uganda by providing essential knowledge about climate change.

Since inception, we’ve worked with 25 schools in west and central Uganda, teaching over 13,550 pupils. Our goal is to reach more than 1.5 million students countrywide by 2030.

The initiative integrates interactive modules into school curricula, fostering critical thinking and inspiring the next generation to become proactive advocates for environmental sustainability.

Tree Planting

Earth Volunteers’ Tree Planting Initiatives form a vital pillar of our commitment to combat deforestation and enhance global biodiversity. Through collaborative efforts, we embark on tree planting campaigns across regions in Africa, aiming not only to replenish our forests but also to create sustainable ecosystems. By actively involving youth volunteers and communities, we cultivate a sense of environmental stewardship, ensuring that each planted sapling contributes to the health and resilience of our planet for generations to come.

'Our Changing Climate' Program

Earth Volunteers proudly collaborates with UNICEF Zimbabwe to distribute the ‘Our Changing Climate’ book, a valuable resource aimed at disseminating and demystifying crucial information about climate change in schools and communities.

Through this impactful partnership, we have been able to reach over 23 schools across Uganda, providing students with essential insights into the challenges and opportunities posed by our changing climate inspiring students to become active agents of change today.

Community Resilience Building

Earth Volunteers works closely with communities to develop strategies that enhance their ability to cope with and adapt to the impacts of climate change. Through this initiative, we aim to empower communities to become resilient in the face of environmental challenges, fostering sustainable practices and inclusive solutions. By collaborating directly with local populations, we create tailored strategies that not only mitigate climate risks but also promote long-term community well-being and environmental sustainability.
